“Puzzling” Times at The LaPlata Depot

Marseille 01 One of the evenings I went to work at the LaPlata train station I saw a box by the back door. The box was from the UK. That got my interest up. I of course ran into the station and opened it up. Inside was a custom made puzzle from a photo from one of our Rail Road Days events here in LaPlata. Matt Walker had this done and I wanted everyone to enjoy it. Amy got it all setup on the desk inside the station office and we let the passengers that wanted to work on it while they were waiting on the train. We had quite a few enjoy that opportunity. We did not photograph them as most were Amish.

Amy sorting out the pieces to make the outside frame.
Frame is all done but one piece. We found it in the box later.
Amy is working on the sky after the passengers got most of the lower part done.
Fresh from the frame shop. Community is where it is at. Thank you so much Matt for this wonderful gift.
Here it is on display for the Christmas season. It will always be on display but may be moved around the office. Check out those cool hats. If you would like to get one of those click here (summer) or here for (winter)
